Phantom makeup mask by Tina Brocklebank.

Work update.

Thanks to everyone who entered my Mother's day competition over on Facebook - I read some really inspirational comments - but the winner is Lynda Mennell, who has won a makeup lesson with me to the value of £150.  The winner was chosen at random.

I have been really busy with makeup lessons and bridal makeup trials, however, I had a few days off recently and so as I had a spare morning I thought I would experiment a bit with a different look, (see Phantom makeup mask photo.)  This was inspired by Nikki tutorials, but I did add my own colours and a few other elements.  I love getting creative!

Bookings for weddings are being taken now in 2020 so please get in touch if you want to book me for your wedding, to avoid disappointment!  Make-up lessons are very popular too, so I am really enjoying working from my make-up studio.  Thank you for all of your support, kind comments and for following my work x

Daniella Draper shoot

Daniella Draper jewellery shoot...

I had the pleasure of working with the very talented jewellery designer, Daniella Draper, today in Lincoln.  I am a big fan of Daniellas' work, she is so talented.

The brief was to keep the beautiful model, Holly, (Daniellas' sister,  who incidentally looks a dead ringer for Cara Delevingne!), natural, healthy and glowing.  Holly has such beautiful skin to work on and her eyebrows are to die for!

I prepped her skin with Bioderma cleanser and then used some Bobbi Brown moisturizing balm, SPF 25, mixed with some MAC strobe cream to enhance Hollys' natural glow.  I then evened out her tanned skin a tad with some Bobbi Brown foundation stick and concealer, then applied a little powder down the t-zone.  I then used a Bobbi Brown eyeshadow to softly define Holly's brows and set with some MAC clear brow gel.  I then used a Gold Maybelline eyeshadow all over the eye area then applied a little sparkle eyeshadow by Bobbi Brown to enhance the sparkle.  I then applied a dark brown eyeshadow along her top lash line and in the waterline, finished with some black mascara.  I then used a Tom Ford shade and Illuminate palette as a bronzer and highlighted on the high points of the face.  I then used a Bobbi Brown bronzer over the bronzed areas with a pop of Bobbi Brown pot rouge.  For lips we just used a little nude pink lip pencil by Bobbi Brown.  To finish and create more of a glow, I dabbed on some Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream, (I love this product so much!)

I am very excited to see the photographs, from Scott Murray photographer.
