Emma Hardie skincare products

I was kindly sent some products to try from the Emma Hardie skincare range.  I have had little samples from this range so was really keen to try more, as I was impressed.

The packaging is looks stylish.  I was sent the Mooring Cleansing balm with a cleansing cloth in together with  a Protect and Prime SPF 30 moisturiser.

The cleansing balm comes in a big tub and you have to mix a few drops of the balm with warm water, apply to the face and massage in.  You then remove with the soaked cloth, (this is to exfoliate too, using the muslin side.)  I absolutely love the smell of the balm which has notes of citrus, rose and jasmine.

You can even use this as a overnight facial treatment, (great for mature skins.)  It soothes and minimises the appearance of open pores.

This is a great cleanser and my skin seems to love it, (after a week.)  It is very hydrating and I really look forward to using it!  The only thing I would say is, don't get this in your eyes, but there is a warning about it on the box!

The moisturiser was actually what I tried as a little sample so I knew what to expect.  It comes in a 50 ml pump bottle, so easy to dispense, not messy and saves you wasting the product.

I love this product as it is not too oily, its light weight, and leaves a lovely glow to the skin.  I love the fact that its got a SPF 30 in too.

I have been taking notes from the respected Caroline Hirons blog, (she a much respected skincare expert), and I have been now routinely looking at ingredients in the products.  I know now not to choose anything with mineral oil in, as apparently it is a "red flag" in 99% of situations.  I also know that there are a lot of problems now with palm oil, (with it being sustainable.)  It seems a lot of the ingredients in the two products are derived naturally, (however, I am not an expert), but looking at them it seems that way. I love this range and I would have no hesitation to recommend it highly if you are looking for a higher end skincare range, but not too pricey.
