Heres to 2013!

Well, as a new year starts its straight back into work for me.  I've got lots of exciting things lined up such as working with some lovely brides and ladies, I am also looking forward to doing a couple of photoshoots soon with my friend Charlotte Hay who is launching her fantastic clothing brand Stella and Alf soon, and then also Ali Lovegrove who is an amazing photographer, (www.alilovegrovephotography.com ), so watch this space for images soon. I am also [...]

Collin Resultime.

I kindly got sent a mini-facial kit from Collin Resultime, and so set to work using it recently. Jessica Biel is a big fan of this Parisian skincare brand who specialise in anti-ageing products. I was impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the packaging too.  I particularly liked the deep cleansing scrub, eye cream and both of the moisturisers - my skin was left smoother and more hydrated...plus I loved pampering myself!  I would definatley recommend these products to [...]

Cat eye make-up

Cat eye make-up look.

First I tweezed Jessicas' brows and then applied a cream eyeshadow all over the eye area in Shore.  I then applied a mixture of Burnt sugar and Sable eyeshadow in the inner corners of the eyes, blending really well.  I also created a higher socket line by applying mahogany eyeshadow above the eye socket crease.  I then defined the brows slightly by filling in with eyeshadow.  Next I used an eyeliner brush by Shu Uemura, which was perfect for this [...]

If you require false eyelashes, I prefer to use the full-strip type - Mac, Shu Uemura, Ardell and Eylure.  However, I do have individual false [...]

Halloween make-up by Tina Brocklebank

Halloween make-up

I am so inspired by Sam and Nic Chapman of Pixiwoo fame - www.pixiwoo.com and I am addicted to their tutorials!  However, as I have an art background and was trained at the London C0llege of Fashion it is something that is in me and I LOVE anything that involves make-up and art, I do love my bridal work but my heart lies with Fashion/body painting/photographic make-up. I absolutely love Halloween so it was a prime excuse to do something [...]

November – Journal article (Foundations), by Tina Brocklebank Make-up artist.

I am really enjoying writing my columns for the Journal magazine.  Laura Stuart-Cooke has breathed new life into this glossy, high-end Lincolnshire magazine and it is jam-packed full of great articles, including Charlotte Hays' regular columns too.  Charlotte is a Lincolnshire-based stylist and is set to launch new brand Stella&Alf with designer Paris Hodson.  The Stella&Alf capsule collection - which will be made of natural fabrics in a neutral colour palette - will be available to buy online from [...]
