Body painting is one of my passions. I was first introduced to the art form when I was on my HND course at The London College of Fashion, where we had to design and complete a body painting from a brief. We then had to put on a catwalk show and use models.
I like to design the body painting first, this includes sketching it and drawing it on paper. I then like to practise it a little if I can, before the shoot, on a limb at least!
Body paintings can take up to 8 hours, (freehand), to complete. I don’t tend to have much time these days for body painting, but I always jump at the chance if I am asked!
My work has been published in magazines and most recently, for Stroke UK charity for their Make May Purple campaign.
