The aim of the teen make-up is to boost confidence and natural beauty. It is all about making subtle changes, overdoing make-up is the worst. Most young women are obsessed with make-up, but they don’t often have the knowledge, skills, or confidence to make it work. The teen years are the time to try trendy colours and textures, but a fresh young face should never be smothered in make-up. Prom make-up should be kept light, polished, natural and pretty.

Prom make-up

On the day of your Prom I will arrive at your home or venue at the pre-arranged time. It is best for the hairdresser to have finished the hair before make-up is applied.

Prom make-up usually takes approximately 30 minutes.

The look that was created at the make-up trial (if required), can then be applied. The make-up trial is advisable as this will give you the opportunity to discuss your requirements and see your make-up. It is also a good idea to have your hair trial and then come and have your make-up trial so you see the full effect. If you are having a group of friends around before your Prom, then I can do a group booking where there are discounts available, please ask for a quote.

Teen make-up lesson

The key to great looking Teen make-up is the art of discovering your best facial features, accentuating the positive and minimising the negative. Less is always more at this age. You will also need to learn about what skincare products are appropriate for your skin-type.

I will share with you my knowledge and experience of make-up application and will teach you step-by-step how to create a beautiful, flawless and unique make-up style, using the right tools and products, appropriate for your age.

I will advise you on the basic correct skincare regime suitable for your skin type and make-up products too. A personally designed face-chart with a listing of all products will be given to you following the make-up lesson/trial. I think if you can learn about make-up at this age then you will not make the mistakes that so many teenagers make, for example, choosing the wrong foundation shade or using too much eye make-up.

The lesson will can be catered for your requirements and will usually take an hour. You will leave feeling confident about applying your own make-up.

Booking

To make a booking with me, please check availability first with me via the enquiry/booking form, including all the relevant details such as your postcode, how many ladies there are requiring make-up and time of the occasion, etc. I will then e-mail your quote to you. To secure your booking with me I require a £25 (non-refundable/transferable) deposit , you can pay securely online via Paypal on my website. This deposit is deductable from your outstanding amount which is required in full on your make-up trial, which ideally needs to be done 2-3 months prior to your special occasion.

On the make-up trial I require full payment, in cash please, (full payment for the trial and for the actual occasion.) Please note – this is non-refundable/transferrable should you decide to cancel.

On the actual day I can travel to your chosen location, (there will be a travelling fee if your location is outside the Grimsby area and I do charge per hour, due to the time it takes, to and from your location.)

Unfortunately, I do not sell any of the make-up I use on you, however, I will design and complete a product list and face chart. This will enable you purchase products either online or the nearest store. I do not work for Bobbi Brown and I am not affiliated with any of the brands that I use. I simply love using the make-up as I am familiar with it, it is easy to use and looks beautiful too. You are under no obligation to purchase anything and I do not work on commission.
